Hi! I’m Ashley Moon and specialize in working with creatives, couples, clutter, and complex trauma.
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), supervised by the incredible Katie Pfeffer in Los Feliz, and the remarkable Dr. Chris Tickner in Pasadena. I see clients from both locations, and virtually from home. I offer free 15-minute consultations by phone or video.
I work with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, offering relational, trauma-informed, inclusive, and affirming care. I often blend talk therapy (mind), somatic (body), and creative art/play exercises. Having worked in community mental health, treatment, and private practice, I’ve been able to lovingly witness and support a wide variety of humans through various mental health struggles and growth.
I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch; followed by training in Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ADHD Adults, and Addiction Counseling, where I treated co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. I’m currently training with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples.
I have extensive background as a declutter expert and professional organizer, often for clients struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, hoarding, OCD, or major life transitions. I have a Masters in Human Development and Social Change from Pacific Oaks, and a Bachelor in American Studies from Occidental. In 2010, I published a thesis, “Healthy Intimate Relationships for Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families,” and personally understand the unique challenges my clients face and want to overcome, including how to navigate boundaries or estrangement. Lastly, I’m also an artist, activist, queer, neurodivergent nature lover- passionate about our personal and collective liberation!

Good therapy can lead to meaningful self-discovery and new possibilities.
The relationship you have with yourself impacts all other relationships- with family, friends, work, and romance. Exploring one’s past, present, and potential future could mean experiencing pain, letting go, new hopes, and mixed feelings. I’m here to hold and support you through all of it, so you can move forward, loving yourself and others more authentically.
I’m so happy you’re here, that you exist, and hope we get a chance to meet and explore!
